About
Ruaa Elmansuri is a London-based, Libyan born multidisciplinary designer and artist, with experience across design development, textiles, illustration, visual storytelling, and creative direction.
A London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martins alumni, and a former intern at JW Anderson and Born-In-Exile, her work merges conceptual research with refined craftsmanship, creating work that sits at the intersection of art & fashion.
She draws inspiration from a rich tapestry of influences encompassing Art, Fashion, North African Culture and Amazigh Heritage.
With a strong eye for colour, silhouette, and fabrication, alongside technical, & graphic skills, her practice is driven by narrative, detail, and a commitment to translating ideas into visually compelling, theoretical work.

Her namesake brand creates conceptual, meaningful pieces, confidently expressing the wearer’s individuality, and carrying history forward with purpose and style.
The brand merges Amazigh heritage and contemporary fashion to evoke ethereal elegance.
With a commitment to quality and ethics, the brand utilises deadstock and repurposed materials, sourced from the UK and the North African region, as well as collaborating with creatives and local artisans, resulting in unique and captivating designs with a cultural narrative. The brand debuted its SS26 collection as part of Fashion Scout’s collective show during London Fashion Week in September 2025, and is currently stocked in select partners in the UK.
