During London Fashion Week, public figure and reality star Lady Paris Smith from the show Made in Chelsea, made a standout appearance at the Paul Costelloe AW24 show, which featured the Costelloe’s characteristic blend of romantic silhouettes and rigid tailoring, and was the opening show of the 40th edition of London Fashion Week. Numerous fashion influencers and lovers attended this event, such as Flossie, Emily Blackwell, and Hugo MacKenzie.
Embracing a blend of regal elegance and contemporary fashion, Lady Paris Smith wore the SS24 ivory satin bralette, along with the voluminous taffeta puffy dress styled as a skirt from Ruaa Elmansuri’s look 6, the ensemble was paired with look 4’s velvet printed glove, wearing only one glove as a bold accessory, which added a dramatic flair to her overall outfit.
Paris Smith’s full look also included a pink fur hat a a playful nod to vintage glamour, complementing the soft pastel tones of her outfit, a pink jacket by Ana Ljubinkovic, while her leopard-print heels added a pop of pattern to her overall look. The intricate detailing on her printed velvet glove offered a textured contrast to the smooth fabrics, adding depth to the visual appeal of her attire. Carrying a vibrant green bag adorned with feather and beaded embellishments by Foam Of The Days, she injected a burst of colour into the ensemble, giving it a whimsical yet chic finish.
The styling of look 6’s puffy dress as a skirt has influenced us to consider creating a skirt version of the dress.
